GistWeb only works with Internet Explorer. It also requires that you have gistweb.com in your 'Trusted Sites' list (Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Trusted Sites) and that your Trusted Sites be set to Low security (the lowest level). This is because GistWeb uses your browser to fetch results from Google, and that can only be done under the stated circumstances.
